Anson Northrup
Named for the Minnesota pioneer who operated one of the first boats above St. Anthony Falls. The 
Anson Northrup was built specifically for the Minneapolis harbor and put in service in 1988.
The side-wheeler's overall height had to be kept under 22 feet because of the low bridges in that area of the river. It is 92 feet long and 33 feet wide. Both decks are heated and air conditioned, with a capacity of 350 (dining 224).
The Anson Northrup now runs out of Harriet Island in downtown St. Paul.
