Catering Information

Catering must be purchased through Padelford Riverboat Company. A minimum catering order of $20.00 per person ($1000.00 minimum) is required on Friday & Saturday evening charters in June, July and August. There is a minimum requirement of $1000.00 on all dinner and $750.00 on all breakfast, lunch and hors d'oeuvres catering orders. Box lunches and the snack bar are available with no minimum requirements

Prices are subject to 6 1/2% Minnesota sales tax and 1/2% city tax. Please, no tipping. It is our pleasure to serve you.


No food or beverages may be brought on board. The only exception is cakes: wedding, birthday, anniversary, graduation. With advance notice, we can supply you with plastic plates, forks & napkins for $.50 per person or you are welcome to bring your own.

 

Food orders are due two weeks before the cruise. At that time we need to know what you will be having to eat and approximate number of meals. FINAL NUMBERS ARE DUE THREE BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE CHARTER. FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE ONE WEEK PRIOR TO EVENT. We can increase your numbers up until 72 hours before your cruise, but we can not reduce your numbers after final numbers are given. If you increase your numbers after final payment has been made, you must bring a check or credit card the day of the charter to cover the additional cost.

Payment for catering is for actual number of meals guaranteed NOT minimum passenger guarantee required for passenger fare.

All meals include white linen tableclothes and white linen napkins.

Food is served one-half hour after departure unless otherwise requested. Please inform Charter Consultant if you want food served at a different time.

Bar Service: beer, wine, liquor and after dinner drinks-- $4.00 to $7.00 (Please ask about Host or Flat Rate bar tabs) Coffee, hot chocolate, and soft drinks also available at the Snack Bar.

Urns of coffee, iced tea, lemonade, fruit punch, hot cider and hot chocolate are available through catering.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are available in $25 increments. Please call 651/227-1100 to order or 800/543-3908 (out-of-state). You may also email us at info@riverrides.com. Gift certificates will be mailed the same day the order is made. Visa, MC and American Express accepted.
